STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN! And against every human being.

November 25th is the day to remind the whole world that we must stop VIOLENCE against women

Today was probably another ordinary day for you, but TODAY lots of WOMEN all over the world SUFFERED just because they are women.

For some women HOME is not a refuge, but a place of terror. Every day, in every country in the world, women and girls are beaten and sexually assaulted by husbands, fathers, and other family members. They usually don't tell anybody because they feel scared, embarrased, isolated...

But that's not the way to stop violence. Ask for help if you are in this situation, or know anybody who is.

Hi!! I´m Melina. I agree with you, Chari! I liked your reflection...We among all should stop it! we should help those people... it can not be possible, that so many women die,in the world,it´s necessary to arrive finally of this!we should not allow it! I don't find the explanation and reasons of these people (rather murderers), to kill, to hit or to violate.. to people that are your couple or somebody of your family or near...I don't understand! it´s a very sad matter, but we have to help! THIS CAN NOT CONTINUE THIS WAY! bye CHARI!

I agree, Melina. We should NEVER BE SILENT! People shouldn't be ashamed or afraid to denounce these facts. If our society supports the victims and punishes the criminals, VIOLENCE will end. Also, it's very important to make everybody understand that women and men have the same rights all over the world. This is how we could help, I think.

Hi Chari,

I would like to congratulate you for your English blog. I'm also and English teacher in Castellón, who is trying to use a blog in her class.
I find the activities your present are really interesting.
I agree with you that me denounce genre violence and our students have to be aware of that.
Continue your work. Congratulations!

You are great. Don't forget this.
This post reminds me a Bebe's song and a famous sentence (reference better?). It's a russian proverb. It can be applied for these violence victims and, really, for all the people: You, I, everyone who loves us,...
"To fall down is allowed. To stand up is obligatory."
I hope this can help us.

See you soon.
